ABSTRACT ART FOR MOM

DIY kids abstract art | And We Play

Let's get real for a second. I love (LOVE) all of Elliott's art work. Especially when it is made just for me. But! I don't hang his art up on my walls. I'm not THAT good of a mom. So, I decided to give the gift of some kid-made abstract art to all you moms this Mother's day. This project is fun and easy and best of all, you can control all of the variables to ensure the art turns out half-decent! The kid is happy and proud of their artwork, mom is happy to hang up their masterpiece. Everyone wins! Check out the details over on Ehow and get to painting!

EASY EGG PEOPLE

IMG_5596.JPG

I am all about an easy way to decorate and make some original eggs for Easter. When I saw the stencil and sticker set by Yoobi at Target, the lightbulb went on. The stickers are the perfect size for decorating some Easter eggs! Elliott and I had a blast making these and coming up with names and backgrounds for them. We got pretty elaborate. Ha! To add some color (or clothes), we just made some egg dye and dipped them in for a few seconds. Seriously, it was so much fun and I loved how easy it was. Now go on and make your own egg people! You know you want to.
