Well, happy happy weekend friends! I have to say, this week kinda did a number on me. I'm really hoping to have a little bit of time for myself over the next few days. We're having a little slumber party tonight with Elliott's cousins and Preston is set on building them a fort. Should be fun! Whatever you are doing this weekend, I hope it's a good one!

AROUND HERE

We have been having way too much fun around here. We've gone to the pool a few times, enjoyed the scenery, and went berry picking (in the back yard!) Elliott has been having a blast with his cousins. He can't get enough of them. And neither can I! You'll notice that little man is using a squirt bottle at the water park. They are awesome. Way better than a squirt gun. Easier to use, cheaper and far more effective. Just my 2 cents on the subject.

AROUND HERE

Happy Monday! We have been having a great time here and Elliott could not be happier to be around my parents and his cousins again. My parents have the best yard for kids with a little pond and stream for them to play in and a swingset and slide. Elliott's in heaven! We had a great fourth of July too. Oh and we got a car! I can't tell you how much I have missed driving. We're still in "transit" so posts will continue to be spotty, but hopefully less so. I hope your week is off to a great start!

This is it! Our last weekend in Hoboken. It's really sad that I can't even enjoy it. I have to pack and have stoop sale instead. It does feel really good to get rid of things though. Some things we never even unpacked from when we moved here! Talk about pack rats! I hope you have a wonderful weekend that involves less bubble wrap and boxes. I most likely won't be posting for a few days. You know what with moving across the country and all. Happy weekend everyone!

Hooray for the weekend + hooray for dads! I'm always more excited for holidays than Preston, but he always loves Father's day. Even if he says he could care less..he loves the thoughtful handmade gifts and meals prepared just for him. And I love doing it for him! This is the first year that Elliott knows that the things he has helped me make are for daddy's day and it's a secret. I do wish that we could be with my dad of course. All he wanted this year were frame-able pictures of the grand-kids (aww). Done and done! Do you do anything special on Father's day? I'd love to hear any traditions you might have.
