DIY CHECKERS!
/
I grew up always playing checkers with my older sister. It holds a
special place in my heart. But there aren't very many cool checker
boards out there, so I made my own! I actually made this one for Preston for Father's day. Hope he loves it as much as I do!
Here's how you can make your own. Get yourself some wood. Mine was 2x2 and I had it cut down to 1x1 pieces. I measured out where I wanted the actual board to be, and taped it off. I used a pencil to lightly mark the grid and painted accordingly. The pieces are just wood discs from the craft store that I spray painted white and then taped off and painted with some neon paints. The great thing about this project is that it's super cheap, easy to do and who doesn't love checkers?
