DIY LEATHER CARD CASES
/
I made these little card cases to take with me to Alt Summt to hold my business cards I will be passing out. I decided to try and make them a little unique and not really something you would see in a store. I went with the house shape that's so ever popular and of course, a hexagon. I thought the hexagon would match my cards well. It only took about 10-15 minutes to make one, so if you need one, give it a try!
You'll need:
Leather
Pen / Pencil
Cutting mat
Rotary blade
Thread / Embroidery Floss
Ruler
Paper
Needle
Awl
Make your template and trace it onto your leather.
Cut out the shape, use the ruler to ensure a straight edge. After you have your shape, measure and create the holes for sewing using the awl. For the black case I only had to sew the sides because the leather was folded in half and sewn together. With the hexagon, it was made from various pieces of leather, so it involved more sewing.
