POLKA DOT WATERING CAN
/We have been trying to acquire and keep a few plants alive around the house and (knock on wood) so far it's going splendidly. Along with the new plants we saw this cute little watering can (they also had pink!) and decided to give it a polka dot makeover. To make the polka dots, I used white contact paper and a small circle paper punch. It helps if you hold the punch upside down so you can see exactly what you are cutting. It also helps the dots to come out cleaner for some odd reason. Then Elliott and I peeled off the paper backing and stuck them on! It was cute before the polka dots, but now it's pretty much perfect. Hopefully our new watering can will help us keep these plants alive! It makes us feel like legit plant owners. Now, for a DIY to replace this hideous plastic planter.
