HAPPY WEEKEND

We are off for a quick long weekend road trip! I'm not a big fan of flying, but road trips I love. I've been trying to get ahead with posts etc. for while we are gone so we'll see how that pans out. But I do have at least one fun post coming up next week! It'll be a great trip and I am sure I will take a picture or two. Ha! Have a fantastic weekend!

I made some bubbles yesterday and spent the afternoon laying out on the grass with my little man. It was perfect. I can feel the cooler fall weather coming so we're trying to squeeze in as much outdoor time as possible. I'm hoping this weekend will be chock-full of the outdoor time! HAPPY WEEKEND

We have had quite a bit of celebrating around these parts and the party goes on! It was my mom's 50th birthday so of course we have been making a big deal of it. My sister and I made some decorations for a little family party the other day and I am hoping to do DIYs soon! We're in for a very fun and happy weekend, I hope you are too!

We have discovered the local library here and are loving it! The children's section is great, complete with globes, large puzzeles and a fish tank. I think we'll be making it a weekly trip. We might be going back tomorrow! We might go on a little family outing tonight and who knows what the rest of the weekend will bring. Oh, and don't forget to enter the giveaway. AROUND HERE

This weekend was the perfect amount of stress, fun and shopping. I have to put shopping in its own category because admittedly I am not generally a big shopper. This weekend my sister and I (and Elliott) went back to school shopping for the kiddos. Her two kids actually go to school, but Elliott was in need of some fall clothing. Really I just wanted an excuse to buy this for him. Can't wait for cooler weather so I can put him in it! Preston and I also went to a concert in the park to see Iron & Wine. It was amazing to say the least. I could have done with out the people who were talking so loudly I could barely hear the music towards the end, but you know. Comes with the territory I suppose. We also watched an absurd amount of House Hunters. I get all worked up when the people pick the wrong house. Because it's obviously the wrong house and I am obviously right. ha!
