HAPPY WEEKEND

Logging off a bit early this week. Yesterday we decided to put a few of our little pumpkins to good use and paint them. Would you look at this little man's concentration face? He insisted his pumpkin must be painted orange (stubborn kiddo) but I finally convinced him to add a few other colors to it. In the end, he washed it off so he could paint it all over again. Smart boy! We're in for a treat of a weekend including a lot of down time and some fall activities. It gets cold quickly around these parts, so all fall festivities must be accomplished and photographed before the middle of October. I'll also be getting ready for CRAFT! Are you coming? I hope to see you there! Have a great weekend, friends!

AROUND HERE

I just realized I never did a "happy weekend" post. Many apologies! This weekend was kind of a whirlwind. We went downtown to a lovely little Argentine bakery at which we stuffed our faces with facturas, empanadas and lots of dulce de leche. We also helped a local school build a playground for the kids. My nephew being one of those kids. I had no idea what was involved in building a playground! Hope you had a great weekend. Happy Monday!

HAPPY WEEKEND

I am so ready for a fun and relaxing weekend. This week put me through the ringer! We're going to a bacon themed dinner tonight where it is rumored there will be chocolate covered bacon, bacon chocolate maple milk shakes and bacon wrapped tater tots. To say we are excited would be the understatement of the year! Oh and happy first day of fall! Are you doing anything festive to welcome fall? We'll have to make our fall to-do list soon. Have a great weekend, friends!

Here are my favorite links for the week, enjoy!

"I want to go to there."

Lovely jewelry hooks.

AROUND HERE

I hope you all had a great weekend and Monday. We drove down to Tuscon for a little visit with some family we haven't been able to see in a few years. We're having a blast with them, Elliott especially with his cousins! We enjoyed the drive down, even though it was long (14 hours!) and I think on the way back we'll try and stop by the grand canyon. I sure hope so!  Things will continue to be a bit sporadic over the next few days. But you'll forgive me, right?
